3Depict - Fast and Free
This software was developed to allow for analysis of scientific
datasets commonly encountered in atom probe tomography. You can manipulate,
interact with and analyse point based datasets.

- 17 Jan 2021 : We are pleased to announce our RangerApp, a standalone APT ranging and spectrum manipulation program is now available; This program can be used to build the input rangefiles needed in 3Depict analyses.
- 31 Jul. 2020: 0.0.23 windows installers are now available for download.
- 5th Jul. 2020: 0.0.23 pre-release source code available for download.
- 5th Apr. 2019: 0.0.22 has been released, installers and source code are available at the download page.
- 1st Jan. 2019: The pre-release source code for 0.0.22 is now available in the repository. We are looking for testers, so if you are interested in helping out, please contact us. For source-code users, please update to help us identify and fix bugs.

- 16th Jan. 2018: We will no longer be providing builds for 32 bit CPUs under windows. We do not believe this is a platform that our users require, as 64 bit CPUs have been available since about 2003. If you are affected, please let us know.

Minimum Requirements:
- Who knows! Every computer I ran this on was fine.
- I ran this on an EEEPC 901(~US$500, 2008) with 2GB RAM running at 800Mhz ("power save" mode). it didn't have any problems.
- I even managed to make it work with software rendering under a virtual machine

Limitations:
- General: Currently you can load approximately 2/3 of your system
RAM's worth of data at any time;
- You can load files larger than this, just not all of it at once (subsets or samplings).
